Test expansion and method changes.

Effective 12/02/14, Redwood Toxicology Laboratory (RTL) will confirm Tramadol and Venlafaxine in urine using the industry's most advanced, sensitive, and specific analytical method, liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Additionally, Venlafaxine will be available as a stand-alone test option.

No action is required for customers that have been testing for Tramadol and Venlafaxine. Presumptive positive specimens will be confirmed by this highly accurate and sensitive test method. The cutoff levels will remain unchanged at 100 ng/mL.
