January 2019
Test method and reporting changes

Beginning January 2019, Redwood Toxicology Laboratory, now part of Abbott, will update the confirmation methodology for 4-Hydroxybutanoic acid (GHB), propoxyphene (PPX), and phencyclidine (PCP) from gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) to liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). The cutoff levels for these tests will remain unchanged. No action is required for customers that have been testing for these drugs.

As your dedicated laboratory partner, our goal is to provide tools that help optimize outcomes through state-of-the-art drug detection and scientifically credible data interpretation. By continuing to update methodologies to reflect current industry standards and efficient practices, we allow clients to receive test results faster and with increased performance.

Excellent service is always our top priority. If there is anything that we can do to improve your service experience, please do not hesitate to contact a client services representative at 800-255-2159, press option 1.
